Hard-chrome plated dents in the outer selvedge area before the tunnel protect against the wear caused by the crossing threads and thus ensure a long service life.
A matter we take for granted: For each type of weaving machine and each type of fabric the optimum shape and thickness of the dents and the optimum reed design.   


   
Indispensable for the weaving of terry towelling and fabrics with fancy yarns on rapier weaving machines: Our special double reed in flat version. Typical of our special reed for projectile and rapier weaving machines: The lower baulk of steel ensures nondistorted installation. The selvedge area is shaped according to customer’s special wishes.

Fully oval dent wire

  • Weaving reeds with fully oval dents are ideally suitable for the weaving of sensitive warp yarns and of fancy and knop yarns.
  • In addition to this the special high efficiency of high-speedweaving-machines without ahuttle has to be pointed out.
Fully oval dents con be supplied in dent sizes from 0,34mm - 1,00mm.
